Mr. Ralph Lobdell also known as “Ralphie”, 77 years young, of Ferry Road, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2019.
He was born in Elizabethtown, NY, on July 29, 1941, to George and Alice Lobdell. He grew up as a child in Wadhams, NY with his parents and later moved to Rome, NY before returning to the Adirondacks. He cherished and valued his friendship with Mike Catanzarita with frequent calls and visits always joking and laughing with each other. He enjoyed spending time playing and napping with his pet, “Dozer Fat Cat Lobdell” whom he adored. He was a dedicated volunteer at the local SPCA as well as for the Ronald McDonald House in Burlington, VT, where he donated can tabs that he collected “for the little kids.”
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ralph and Agnes (Grimes) Lobdell; parents, George and Alice (Downey) Lobdell, as well as his cherished cat, “Soul.”
