Minnie Rae Genier

August 7, 1948 – July 11, 2017

Minnie Rae Genier 68 of Moriah, New York passed away on July 11, 2017 at ECH in the presence of her beloved family and friends. Rae was born in Moriah, New York to the late Carl and Lillian Perry.

Rae was an avid reader. She enjoyed knitting, scratch off tickets, bingo, spending time with her family and her beloved dog and companion Noel.

Rae is survived by her husband Michael of 49 years; her daughter Lisa and son-in-law Paul, her son Chris and daughter-in-law Kim, Son Shaun daughter-in-law Vicki, and sons Craig and Michael. Rae is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers with their wives, eight sisters with their husbands; a brother-in-law Bob and many nieces and nephews.

Rae was predeceased by two sisters Sherl and Bert, and brothers in law Ray Weston,  Eddie Genier,  Bobby Simpson, Kim Joiner, George Genier, and sisters in law Kay Genier and Brenda MartIneau.

Minnie will be greatly missed by all who loved her in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American cancer society.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6 to 7 pm. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A service will follow at 7:00 pm.
