Kyle Michael Stockwell, 21, of Witherbee, NY passed away on January 26, 2018 as a result of a motor vehcle accident. Kyle was born March 18, 1996 in Middlebury, Vt.

Kyle graduated from Moriah Central High School where he was a dedicated and passionate member of the football team. Kyle then continued on to receive a degree in welding from the Lincoln Technical Institute of Connecticut.

Kyle worked at the Essex Marina in Essex, NY and was recently hired in Lake George to begin in the spring the career he had set out and aimed to achieve as an underwater welder.

A kind and caring young man was he who had the ability to make others smile and laugh with ease. Kyle lived each moment to the fullest and loved all of the adventures of life and travel. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, playing sports, skydiving and watching a good movie.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Richard and Tara Stockwell; his brothers Richie and Cody Stockwell; his sisters Makayla and Kiyanna Stockwell; his maternal grandparents Tim and Pam Rock; his paternal great grandparents Rita and Ray Nesbitt and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry on Wednesday, January 31 from 6-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Port Henry at 11:00 am on Thursday with a reception to follow at the Mineville VFW.
