James A. Pratt Jr.

Joseph A Pratt Jr. 88 of 523 Dalton Hill Rd. Witherbee, NY died Sunday June 3rd, 2018 at Elizabethtown Community Hospital.

Joseph was born on May 19,1930 in Witherbee, NY son of Joseph Pratt SR and Dorothy Pratt.

He married the love of his life Dolores Pratt on October 22, 1949. 

He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Joseph worked at Republic Steel Co. as a driller for 24 years and as a laborer with Local 186 for 30 years primarily with Reale Construction Company.

Joseph is survived by his children Adel and David Allen, Joseph E. III and Tricia Pratt, Michael J. and Dawn Pratt, Steven E. And Karen Pratt and his brothers Robert and Gloria Pratt, Arthur and Barbara Pratt, and Walter and Barbara Pratt. 

He is also survived by his grandchildren David Joseph and Krissy Allen, Heather Nolette, Joseph J. Pratt IV, Michael J. Pratt and Shelby James, Leann and Joshua Lacourse, Tyler Pratt and Kara Cummings, Ryan A. and Kali Pratt, Zachary S. And Allison Pratt and Bobbie Jo and Wayne Simard and numerous great grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. At the Church of All Saints in Mineville, N.Y. with Father Al Hauser officiating.  

Memorial donations can be made in his honor to the Elizabethtown Community Hospital, Elizabethtown N.Y.
