James McCray Obituary

James C. McCray, known to friends and family as Jim, of Westport, NY passed away on February 16, 2018.

He was born August 24, 1927 in Chesterfield, NY, the son of James and Phoebe McCray.

James was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He worked in the old mine, Bryant’s Lumber, Basin Harbor and the Moriah Transfer Station. He worked very hard his whole entire life of 90 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Georgetta McCray; a daughter Brenda McCray; his son Mike McCray; son-in-law Eric; two grandchildren, Ron McCray and Tanner McCray and the McCray family.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 1:00 PM at the Eagle’s Nest in Moriah.
