Frank “Pete” Wojewodzic of Moriah Center passed away on December 26, 2017 at the age of 61.

Pete was born to parents Frank Wojewodzic and Stella (Halaburda) Wojewodzic on December 14, 1956 in Ticonderoga, NY.

Survivors include a brother Michael and Carlene of Mineville, NY; his sister Stephanie Hanchett and Ward of Port Henry, NY; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Fleury, Becki Hanchett, Ward (Boomer) Hanchett, Norman Wright, Donald Wright, Eric Wright, Mindy Johnston, Edward Wojewodzic Jr. and Emily Wojewodzic. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Stella and his brother Edward Wojewodzic.

Pete was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved playing the harmonica. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and loved his last year in Alaska, hunting and fishing when off duty.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the Harland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.
