Marion L. Smith

Marion L. Smith, 63, of Ticonderoga, NY, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born in Ticonderoga, NY on September 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William and Luella Smith. She earned her associate degree at North Country Community College in Human Services and worked for ARC and Mountain Lake Services for many years.

Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband, Allen, and is survived by her sons, Matthew (Christine) Smith, of Albany, NY, Adham Smith, of Ticonderoga, NY and Joshua Smith, of Ticonderoga, NY. She is also survived by her siblings, Esther (late Peter) McKown and William (late Carolyn) Smith; sisters-in-law, Carol Smith, Sharon Mitchell and Christine "Chippy" Smith. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Connor, Bryson and Mackenzie, whom she adored more than anything in this world, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and close friends.

The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Marion's dear friend, Teresa Huestis, for the attentive and loving care she provided to Marion during her final months.

Services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 4-6pm at Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, NY. Burial and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
